Grievance Redressal Systems

Extensive mechanisms have been set up to resolve public grievances related to Local Self-Government Institutions (Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation) in a speedy and transparent manner. In addition to complaints submitted directly to the local bodies, there are also channels available for urgent redressal through online means. The public can submit complaints from the comfort of their homes and track their progress through various portals of the State Government. Furthermore, the Local Self-Government Ombudsman and Tribunal function specifically to prevent corruption and delays in services. The Chief Minister's public relations programs and the LSGD Minister's adalanths (grievance redressal forums) also help in finding time-bound solutions to people's issues
